Introduction
The ethylene glycol small cycle system can provide a temperature, flow rate, and pressure controllable cooling cycle circuit for the fuel cell during the low-temperature cold start testing process, enabling the fuel cell to start safely in a low-temperature environment, thereby evaluating the cold start performance, stability, and reliability of the fuel cell.
Application
Cooling stack: During low-temperature cold start, the stack is usually in a lower temperature state and needs to be rapidly heated to within the normal operating temperature range. The ethylene glycol small circulation system circulates the coolant (usually ethylene glycol aqueous solution) through the fuel cell stack to accelerate its heating and prevent overheating protection.
Temperature and related parameter control: The ethylene glycol small circulation system can control the temperature (flow rate, pressure) of the ethylene glycol solution entering the stack within the specified temperature range according to user needs, and then perform reliability verification or research and development data verification on the stack at different temperatures.
Composition & Control
The system components include: liquid storage container, high and low temperature circulation pump, pressure control device, pressure sensor, solenoid valve, temperature sensor, refrigeration heat exchanger, three-way directional valve, SUS316 pipeline system, and other multiple components. Before the low-temperature cold start, the storage container is located in the environmental chamber and is used to pre cool ethylene glycol to a temperature that matches the temperature of the environmental chamber. During the cold start process, the system precisely controls the flow rate, pressure, and temperature of ethylene glycol. When the coolant temperature rises to room temperature (a temperature that can be set), the system will automatically switch to the large circulation system at the end of the fuel cell stack for control.
